Founded in 2008 by entrepreneur Rupen Der Boghosian, QTripper is a Web 2.0 startup dedicated to connecting local travelers and allowing unique, user-based recommendations used to create city and country guides.
Travelers have up to the minute information at their disposal. Basic travel guides are constantly being updated by users, along with local airline, airport, and embassy information. Users can also create a ‘travel scrap book’ including videos, photo albums, and journal entries that also allows them to mark restaurants, hotels, pubs, and night clubs they have visited and recommended to other travelers!
A world event calendar can also be used to help a traveler decide what month would be best to visit the country or city the traveler is considering a trip to!
QTripper is set to launch out of BETA version in 2010
