Qponomics is a lifestyle application that is free to consumers. It is available for download at the Apple App Store, Android Marketplace, BlackBerry App World, Windows Marketplace for Mobile and coming soon to the Palm App Catalog.
The application allows for mobile coupons, offers and promotions that are delivered to mobile devices via the GPS capability built into the phone. The user can filter by selecting the type of business they are looking to find as well as the distance they want to travel. The app allows for distances of 1 mile, 5 miles, 25 miles and 50 miles. This application is great for locals looking to find a deal and travelers to an area looking for deals while they travel.
This is a green product that is functional, powerful and easy to use. The user can visit the website of businesses on the application, they can also call the business directly, and view a menu of information on the business. They can also present the mobile coupon to the store clerk to receive discounts on merchandise. There is no paper print out with this application since all of the offers are electronic.
Since the initial launch of the product in January 2010, Qponomics has over 1,500 businesses using its service and is signing up new customers everyday. It is a very affordable way for businesses to advertise their promotions, offers, coupons, website and maps directly to their location
