Limelight is a real-time news and discussion platform that allows you to follow topics, as well as users.
Your feed is made up of videos, pictures, links, and “talks” (discussion) in a Pinterest-like column view. The posts are distributed according to both the users you follow and the topics you follow. A topic can be any real-world topic, such as “Barack Obama” or “iPhone 5”.
As people like what you say about a topic, you gain influence in that topic. People with more influence in a topic reach even more users, rewarding you for talking about the topics you care about.
