Posit Science Corporation designs and tests clinically validated computer based brain fitness programs. Its programs focus on the brain’s various systems and target the roots of memory and thinking. The company offers Posit Science Brain Fitness Program Classic, which is designed to improve auditory processing and memory functions of the brain; and Posit Science Cortex with InSight, a program that targets the brain’s visual processing center functions. Its programs address cognitive issues related to aging, Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment, Parkinson’s, chronic pain, schizophrenia, and chemobrain conditions. Posit Science Corporation was formerly known as Neuroscience Solutions Corporation and changed its name in January, 2005. The company was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
