PlanetRate was developed by two software engineers graduates from University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
PlanetRate is an online community, dedicated to provide tools to share people’s opinions and help them gain useful information on almost anything! Fun and easy to use, PlanetRate allows people to rate, review and share their opinions with other users while accessing other’s opinions on the quality of any product, place or specific interest they may have. With its broad category base, in-depth rating system and user-personalized rating profiles, PlanetRate is an excellent online information resource, buying/experience guide and social networking site.
The website has been launched in late August 2008.
