PlanetBILLBOARD is a software development company founded in 1998. Our clients are comprised of small/micro businesses that we help enable a web presence for their small, hyper-local businesses.
Based in the suburbs of Northern Virginia, the company is a privately held company founded by serial (parallel) entrepreneurs Steve Mehraban and Katherine Mehraban. Each have brought their special expertise and knowledge to the company since it’s early inception are are both actively involved today - creating innovative proprietary software for the search, entertainment and social web.
Steve Mehraban has more than 25 years diverse experience in Software Development. He graduated cum laude with a BS computer science from Suny IT. He has experience managing projects ranging from clients like the IRS, government contractors, small business, game programming, graphic arts, signs and more. He is the chief technologist at PlanetBillboard, Inc.
Katherine Mehraban brings 25 years of HR, HRIS, Employment, Payroll and Management to the organization. Her experience ranges from a variety of progressively responsible positions at Paychex, Raytheon, American Red Cross, and Fairfax County Government. She has also consulted and holds two professional certifications.
The team have launched several products, including a Real Estate referral database company, their own line of 3D art work using their own IP, original art work and a computer game built for the edutainment market and garnered a Best of The Rest Award from Computer Gaming World.
They love what they do, creating and innovating new ideas for the web.

CloudPROBER is a powerful multi-search tool that will search sources from the web and give the user the results at once from many resources. Users will just type their search terms once and get many results without the need to re-type the search terms into multiple browser search address lines. Users will also have the ability to target their results either in split windows, or a new tab or a new window. This will allow the user to review the results on the same screen at once and make their own decision as to which results are best for their needs.
CloudPROBER is in alpha as of September 2011. A scaled down version is live on our public beta movie directory site SortFLIX, a vertical portal that brings movie resources from around the world. A version for the Google App store is expected out for sale est. Nov 1 and will be offered for 1.00.
