Spinning off from the One Laptop Per Child project, PixelQi is focused on licensing and selling the technologies powering the OLPC’s XO laptop to mainstream laptop, cell phone, and PDA producers. These technologies include sunlight readable screens, XO’s operating system, and other design and systems elements of the laptop. Pixel Qi is being led by former OLPC CTO Mary Lou Jepsen.
