Pheed, a new place to express yourself.
Pheed launched its iOS App out of Los Angeles on November 12, 2012 and its Android App on August 30, 2013.
Pheed enables users to create, inspire, and share text, photos, videos, music tracks, voice-notes, and live broadcast events.
While it is free to join and use Pheed, users have the option to monetize their content if they wish to do so, either by applying a monthly subscription fee to their channel or setting up a pay-per-view live stream broadcast event. The user is able to select the pricing and earn directly.
Original content uploaded to Pheed is owned and controlled by the user; Pheed retains no rights or ownership toward it. Users also have the option to copyright their pheeds.
Pheed was labeled by Forbes as ‘the new Twitter,’ Mashable as ‘the next social craze,’ and Huffington Post ‘the next generation of social media.’ Fortune listed Pheed as ‘The #1 Social Network to Watch in 2013,’ and Business Insider ‘the social media company of the year.’
On May 15, 2013 Pheed became the world’s first mobile app company to offer user to user live stream pay-per-view technology.
