In addition, it offers reporting and analysis services. The company’s products are used in pharmacology, drug and disease modeling, human genetics, biostatistics, strategic decision-making, and regulatory strategy disciplines. It offers its products to pharmacy and medical schools, students, and teachers through a network of distributors in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore. Pharsight Corporation has a strategic partnership with InforSense, Ltd. The company was founded in 1995 and is based in Mountain View, California with additional offices in St. Louis, Missouri; Cary, North Carolina; Montreal, Canada; and Munich, Germany. As of October 31, 2008, Pharsight Corporation operates as a subsidiary of Tripos International.
