Pembe Panjur is an online dating service targeting individuals who are looking for a long-term committed relationships and/or marriages.

Its fundamental features are “privacy” and “scientific matching”. Members are only allowed to view other members’ profiles that are matched with them. Profiles are not listed on any search engines and cannot be viewed by visitors that are not logged into the system. The matching algorithm is based on 60+ socio-economic background questions and 60+ personality analysis questions.

Pembe Panjur was founded by Haluk Akin who is a senior developer with a PHD in Industrial Engineering (Operations Research) and Seda Berber who is the creative director and holds a BA in Sociology.

Currently the service is free for women, and a offers a paid membership for men.
