The Agile Platform was created by OutSystems as a software development and management solution targeted at building web business applications. It equips IT with the tools to integrate, assemble, deploy, manage and change web business applications using agile methodologies.
The Agile Platform uses a model driven development approach, through a visual programming language that accelerates the creation and change of web applications without resorting to low level programming. Applications are deployed automatically with 1-click, to produce standard .Net or Java applications that run on top of IIS/JBoss servers using SQL Server/Oracle databases.
The Agile Platform has been used by companies across several industries including Telecom, Banking and Insurance, Pharma, Utilities, Consumer Goods and Government to create custom enterprise web applications like Intranets, Portals, Custom CRMs, Billing Systems and many other.
