OrderStorm is about to awaken a sleeping giant and begin a revolution in how cloud data services are delivered. We intend to capture the millions of business websites that use WordPress using a simple-to-install plugin that will replace today’s very complex APIs. Using the universal plugin, OrderStorm will offer SaaS applications including e-commerce and mobile marketing to become the first WordPress app shop.
The plugin acts like a pipe between the OrderStorm cloud servers and the customer’s WordPress website. Data passes easily back and forth through the pipe using web services. Both OrderStorm and third party applications are integrated once in the OrderStorm Cloud and delivered through the pipe to multiple WordPress sites so individual WP sites don’t need to use APIs.
Beyond the initial applications for e-commerce and mobile marketing, OrderStorm plans to create an App Shop for WordPress to deliver apps including Backup and Restore, visitor analytics, CRM, and form data collection.
