OpenX Hosted

OpenX Hosted, which went into beta testing in January 2008, contains the same software found in the original OpenX Ad Server, which allows publishers to completely control their ad space. The new product llows publishers to use the software to operate all aspects of ad serving while OpenX provides all the hardware and back-end infrastructure, leaving publishers free to focus on their advertising revenues. OpenX Hosted’s feature-set enables publishers to manage their advertising campaigns across multiple direct advertisers and ad networks, prioritize and optimize their campaigns, and use sophisticated targeting tools. Importantly, OpenX Hosted also enables publishers to maintain tight control over which advertisers are permitted to see their data and advertise to their users.

OpenX Hosted is free to publishers who serve less than 25 million ad impressions a month. This represents more than 95% of the large and growing OpenX publisher community of more than 100,000 websites. For publishers serving more than 25 million ad impressions a month, the company will charge a low fee so that the company can provide the service. Publishers can upgrade their accounts at any time to premium hosted packages that include additional ad impressions, support resources, service level agreements and customized solutions.

What was wrong with OpenAds? You know: OPEN source AD Serving?

Absolutely loved Openads and its predecessors, the name change from phpads to Openads made sense, Openads was the perfect name and the site looked great, very professional and modern. Do what you want with the company, but for goodness sake you don’t need to rebrand every time it changes hands. What was wrong with OpenAds? You know: OPEN source AD Serving?
