Open Network Lab

Open Network Lab is a seed acceleration program in Japan, similar to Y Combinator and TechStars, established by Netprice.com, Digital Garage, and Kakaku.com.

The lab’s mission is to create a global startup ecosystem, allowing startups in Japan to receive mentorship and funding from overseas.

Teams accepted into its three-month seed accelerator program are given 1 million yen ($12,800) in funding, office space, mentoring and access to its extensive network of entrepreneurs and partners. In return, limited partners of Open Network Lab will have the priority to invest up to 5 percent in ownership.

Startups that complete the program will have a chance to pitch their product to angel investors and venture capitalists from Singapore and United States.
