Craig Donato, Scott Kister, and Faith Sedlin founded Oodle, an aggregator of classifieds and other listings, in the spring of 2004. Like many other sites like LiveDeal, Edgeio, and Vast, Oodle reorganizes listings from around the web and makes them easily searchable by different categories, attributes, and location. Oodle has received funding from Greylock, Redpoint Ventures, and Jafco Ventures.

Oodle is a local and national classifieds listing aggregators found on the web, although there are a couple of features which make Oodle unique in some aspects. One of Oodle’s features includes the idea of “giving locally,” which allows people to search a compilation of volunteer opportunities as well as charity drop off points. Also, in addition to a good collaboration of local and broader listings for searches, there are maps and pricing features when appropriate.
