oncgnostics GmbH, a spin-off of the university hospital Jena, aims at the identification and utilization of molecular markers for the early diagnosis of cervical cancer. The concept, applying tumor-specific DNA methylation markers for cancer diagnosis and screening is transferable to many kinds of cancer. Thus, oncgnostics not only concentrates on cervical cancer.
