Newspepper calls itself “the first citizen journalism website giving you daily news told by you.” The site is the brain-child of founder Hermione Way who came up with the idea last year while training to be a journalist. Hermione’s brother Ben Way, was an early dot com millionaire after developing a search technology called Waysearch in the late 1990s.

Newspepper is a new UK “citizen journalism” site. The site intends to eventually allow anyone to submit stories and multimedia, by mobile phone as well as conventional Web methods.

Currently Newspepper just has flash videos created by the company itself.
