Newsgrape is a social news reader that connects like-minded people by creating interactive news streams based on their interest.

Newsgrape analyzes a quarter Million articles per days from established media and ranks them according to their performance on Twitter and your personal interests and preferred sources. All of this in one unique stream of information that combines news, facts and opinions.

The project is aimed at adding social to news and provides the first all-open, central article community that allows to connect otherwise individual blogs for auto-crossposting and increased exposure, going beyond conventional aggregation and centralizing the otherwise de-central and inefficient blogging infrastructure.
