The company was founded in 2006 by seasoned, enthusiastic technology entrepreneurs Todor J. Fay and Melissa Jordan Grey. It has partnerships with industry leaders like Adobe, Sony, Grass Valley, Avid, and Corel.
Most recently, NewBlue added Vibop to its product mix. Vibop is a revolutionary mobile video app that allows consumers to create and share beautiful, professional-quality videos on their iOS devices or on the Web with just a few touches. It’s the first mobile app built on the proprietary NewBlue Video Cloud.
In 2011, NewBlue was selected from 176 applicants to join EvoNexus, a CommNexus pro-bono technology incubator based in La Jolla, a suburb of San Diego, California. The company is privately held.
