Nearparent enables parents to create a trusted social network of helpers for their kids and provides new way to raise funds for good causes.
The Nearparent service is designed to help families’ everyday life and make it more care-free. The service allows parents to create a network of trusted individuals from their family and friends that can help their children wherever they may be. With the application kids can check-in with their parents every now and then and let them know that they are OK. If the kids have a problem, they can use the application to make an alert to their personal and trusted support network. Nearparent thus enables the sharing of parenthood, earlier common in small local communities – but now available anywhere and anytime.
