National Banana is a comedy-video site that wants to bring a new comedy community to the Internet. The site is focusing on short episodes and clips that can be easily shared and imbedded into other sites and blogs. Hollywood film producer Jerry Zucker known for his comedy movies Airplane! and Naked Gun is producing the content on National Banana. The site is in beta mode and maintains a very simple video-only interface.
National Banana is also PodTech’s first comedy-only channel. In May 2007, the site announced their strategic partnership with PodTech.

The videos on National Banana come in the form of episodes and clips. They have one series of episodes called Sands of Passion, which is an Al Qaeda soap opera that is pretty hilarious.
All their comedy clips seem to take on hot-button issues like Lindsay Lohan’s second arrest and stem cell research with edgy, no-holds-barred humor.
