We aggregate educational videos scattered around the web and stitch them as courses along with text content. We provide the tools to make notes, take quizzes, connect with friends in the class etc. We believe this will greatly help students to supplement university education and help casual users who would love to quicly learn something without paying an arm and a leg.

What’s kool:

1. Students in the US and elsewhere are hit with triple whammy of more tuition, depleted parental savings and lack of jobs to pay the student loans. They want to reduce their tuition and supplement the university education with courses elsewhere. We provide right what they want.
2. We have the largest and broadest amount of lecture videos. From finance to law to economics to religion to porter’s strategy and quantum mechanics, you can find courses here. We have about 300 courses (6000 hours of videos) in 75 subjects organized under 10 top level departments. Out of these include 47 are from MIT, 33 from Stanford, 24 from Yale, 11 from UCLA, 22 from Berkeley and 36 from Indian Institutes of Technology.
3. We provide tools to take course notes - take notes as you watch the videos, and access them when you come to that page the next time. At the end of semester, go to “my notes” and access them all.
4. Take quizzes (needs facebook connect) in courses to challenge your understanding. Maintain transcripts with My Grades.
5. See who among your buddies are taking the course. Then form study groups with them.
6. Dim the lights and remove the distractions.
7. Related courses allow you to go to prerequisites and next level courses.
8. More reading provides the textual accompaniment to your videos
9. Get project suggestions and work in groups.
10. Search suggest allows you to choose courses by university, title etc.
