MyToons

MyToons.com is the world’s premier online animation community. Launched in spring of 2007, MyToons.com provides global content creators with a free platform to share their original animations, artwork, and games with animators, enthusiasts and animation fans worldwide.

Combining high-quality standard and high-definition (HD) video file streaming with best-in-class social networking for animators, MyToons.com showcases the greatest variety of independent and studio animation anywhere. Dedicated to “everything animated,” MyToons.com allows global animation artists to share their techniques, discuss their thoughts and ideas, and explore their commonalities in a robust visual environment.

MyToons.com shut down in 2009.

MyToons is open to everyone interested in animation. Users upload short animated films that they’ve created, or have copyright permission to use. Videos are organized by tag, user, most watched, most highly rated, etc. You can easily embed them in other sites in three different sizes.

In addition to videos, the site has sections focused on artwork, games and the community. The site also is also trying to be family friendly, and says they’ll censor out inappropriate content.
