My Open Road is a geo location smartphone travel game that uses our patent-pending technology to reward travelers for socially beneficial actions. Users are rewarded for conserving energy for using alternative transportation, car-pooling, or safe mobile device use while driving a vehicle. For every mile traveled users earn points that can then be redeemed at one of our partner retailers for gift cards. A host of social interaction features including collectable and tradable virtual “bumper stickers†enhances game play.
My Open Road also introduces a new class of customer incentive program. Unlike competing “check-in†or “daily-deal†incentive offerings that typicly offer a discount on a single product or service, My Open Road is a “seed incentiveâ€â„¢ (cash equivalent) that gives consumers the freedom of choice to buy whatever they want. Customers will spend more of their own money at retailers than with other incentive programs. In addition, and because My Open Road gives back through socially beneficial actions, retailers are proud to use this service.
