Multiplied Media develops and deploys local search applications for mobile and wired devices.

Their local search service, Poynt, enables users to search yellow pages and movie information. Results are distance-sorted and include phone and address information, website links where available, driving directions, interactive map showing results relative to the user’s location, movie trailers and showtime information.

Users are also able to purchase movie tickets while in the service.

The service is currently available on Windows Live Messenger, AIM and the BlackBerry.
