Motion Math creates learning games for mobile, turning math’s stumbling blocks into delightful game experiences.
Motion Math’s first product, a fractions number line game, was conceived at the Stanford School of Education and launched on the Apple App Store in October 2010, reaching the Top 5 in the Education category and receiving critical acclaim, including a profile in the Wall Street Journal and an Excellence in Design Award from Children’s Technology Review. The company raised seed funding from a group of investors including Mitch Kapor, Mike Wood, Reece Duca, and Dave McClure, and is also supported by a grant from the Noyce Foundation.
