Today, mobile e-mail solutions in the marketplace struggle with several problems that prevent wider use and customer adoption. The MMOPE (Mobile Message Optimization and Protection Engine) is a unique system that breaks â€out of the boxâ€ by optimising content, minimising bandwidth usage and protecting the user and his/her telephone. For example, an email and attachment of 6.6MB is optimised to 27kb when received on the mobile handset.
Momail’s unique technology also leverages the inbuilt email platform available in over 80% of the handsets in the market today. Thus, as it does not rely on Java, Momail is the market leader in handsets supported for email applications - ie, at over 1400 today (Q1, 2009).
Momail is now available in 14 countries in Europe, and in beta in an additional 20.
