ModelSheet Software LLC was founded in 2007 to enhance the power of desktop modeling by augmenting, not replacing, existing tools such as spreadsheets.
The company’s first product, ModelSheet, is an authoring environment for building and maintaining sophisticated model-based spreadsheets. A preliminary version of ModelSheet is currently available to selected trial users.

The ModelSheet Authoring Environment is a SaaS or desktop application for authoring and maintaining business models and delivering them in spreadsheets. It automates virtually all manual cell-level operations needed to build spreadsheets, so modelers can focus on business logic. ModelSheet uses readable symbolic formulas (and far fewer formulas) instead of cells and cell addresses, while preserving the table layout of spreadsheets. It raises the level of thinking and doing from cells to variables, dimensions, time series, and other structures. ModelSheet improves model reliability and expressiveness, team collaboration, and modeler productivity. It generates fully functional spreadsheets and re-imports edited data from spreadsheets that it generated.
