MoblinQ lets everyone create a (mobile)community for their event.
MoblinQ combines event management with social networking.
Event visitors use their favorite social network (Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin) to register. Inside the community they can connect all their networks to see which of their connections will also be there.
With the event calendar they can register for individual sessions and see who else is attending. This is also the way to create a personal calendar that can be used at the event itself.
MoblinQ is made for mobile use and is accessible from mobile phones and tablets through the browser.
After creating an event on MoblinQ organizers can choose to use MoblinQ as the main registration tool or simply invite visitors of their event to join their MoblinQ event community.
Organizers can choose from various templates to accommodate different events such as a congress, fair, congress & fair, music festival or art festival. There is also a template that will allow organizations to schedule a year full of events.
Anyone can create a MoblinQ event. MoblinQ is free for events up to 100 users with premium packages available for larger events.
MoblinQ has already been used by Sanoma Media, Microsoft and TEDxYouth.
MoblinQ uses Windows Azure to handle the peak loads that occur at large events.
