QuickBlox

QuickBlox is a cloud hosted backend (mBaaS) consisting of 7 modules which developers and publishers can use to add extra functionality to their smartphone, desktop and web/Facebook apps.

The modules currently available:

• Chat (powerful cross-platform chat with features of Google Map, AR, media attachments and push notification alerts)
• Messaging (send immediate or delayed push notifications and pull alerts)
• Content (manage, store and stream video, media files or raw data)
• Location (users interact over Googlemap/Bing, check ins etc)
• Ratings (ratings, votings and high scores)
• Users (user profiles, authentication, social integration, single sign on)
• Custom Objects (create and manipulate your own data structures)

QuickBlox gets its revenue from monthly subscriptions and SLA fees (mainly enterprise customers).

Enterprise clients usually have system running on their own servers / AWS infrastructure managed by QuickBlox team. This provides flexibility, security and control necessary for enterprise sector.
