Voted Best App in Spain by Apple, Minube is a Madrid-based social travel start-up that aims to inspire travelers to discover new destinations, sights, restaurants, shops, and hotels both locally and abroad, using the recommendations, photos, and videos of a community of over 550,000 international travelers.
Founded in 2007 by a young group of international entrepreneurs, minube quickly expanded to markets throughout Europe and Latin America, appearing in Spanish, Italian, French, German and Portuguese. With its launch of English-language versions of its app and website at the World Travel Market in London in November 2012, minube truly became global enterprise. Since its international launch, minube has been covered by CNN, the BBC, NPR, Gizmodo, Business Insider, and the Los Angeles Times, among others.
