DownToEarth is a free dating site that was launched in January of 2009 by Match.com. Their unique RealRatings™ system encourages daters, after meeting in person, to rate the accuracy of the information provided in the other person’s profile, including their height, weight and resemblance to their photo. The five-star rating system allows daters to score the other person’s accuracy from ‘Not Even Close’ (one star) to ‘True to Life’ (five stars).
The site is led by Founder Jacob Solotaroff, an expert in online security and fraud prevention, credited with creating state-of-the-art technology to protect and enhance online dating.
