Ten years ago, our founder Monica C. Smith, left her corporate job to start a new kind of marketing company that takes a holistic view of the consumer, consolidating data from direct mail, e-commerce and retail stores, and turns them into actionable insights, allowing companies to understand their customers better and market more effectively to them. Filling an important need in the marketplace, Marketsmith quickly grew into the leading edge Direct Marketing agency in the US. At the same time Monica has set up an internship to train young women from her high school alma mater in the direct marketing industry, has established an award for entrepreneurship among college age women, and has been building One More Smith, an organization dedicated to providing medical care, safe shelter, food, training and affection to homeless domestic animals with medical and behavioral problems.
