mapp2you is a mobile ambient awareness App. It allows you to leave virtual messages tagged to locations. If you get close to a location where one of your friends has left a message mapp2you imediatey sends you a push notification with the message your friend left at this location. We call this “Smart Instant Push” (SIP). SIP represents a new mobile paradigm: context relevant information finds the user at the right time instead of the user having to search for it. Proprietary intelligent location update algorithms ensure very effective reduction of battery drain of the continuous location function.
