There.com is a 3D world where members can create custom avatars and become a part of a virtual community for free. The community is a place for groups of friends to do fun things together online. Members can do everything from playing card games, race with cars, hoverboards (like snowboards that work on air), play with their pets, and just make things with friends. This community even has its own currency – Therebucks, which have real world value. Therebucks can be exchanged in-game for virtual goods, property, and services.
Chatting with friends online can be done in lots of different ways. Text chat, instant messaging and buddy lists come standard and users with premium memberships can use voice chat (like Skype).
