Magnet Systems is building a mobile software platform to accelerate the emergence of a new generation of enterprise applications. Combining mobile, social and cloud technologies, Magnet’s goal is to make it fast and easy to build compelling business applications that deliver the same smartphone and tablet experience consumers have enjoyed for years.

Headquartered in Palo Alto, California, Magnet is funded by Andreessen-Horowitz, Alfred Chuang, Bill Janeway of Warburg Pincus and HTC. In 2012 Magnet secured a $47.2 M series B funding round led by Andreessen-Horowitz and bolstered by mobile device maker HTC.
