Maestro.fm is a social music and playlist discovery platform that allows users to access music and playlists on-demand, find out what their friends are listening to, and what’s happening with your favorite artists. Maestro provides access to all of the users music and playlists through its mobile apps on iPhone and Android, as well as through any Web browser and streaming entertainment devices for TV. Users can find playlists and music they want to hear, view related content such as artist bios, reviews, lyrics, photos, and videos, as well as purchase media.
The full user experience requires users to download the Maestro Connector application to a home Mac or PC so users can scan their music collection, sync their iTunes playlists online and interact with everything through Maestro.fm. Users who do not download the Maestro Connector can upload their media directly to the cloud depending on the preferred account type, and passive users can still utilize the Maestro experience by searching for artist info, discovering new music, and event info.

The Maestro.fm Facebook application allows users to extend the use of their favorite Maestro playlists by adding them to their Facebook profile so that anyone viewing your profile can click on any of the songs at any time to change which song they are listening to without affecting anything else on your profile. If the “favorite” playlists option is selected, visitors to your profile can peruse and listen to your favorited playlists.
