Its solutions include 8e6 Professional Edition, an enterprise-quality filtering solution; M86 Secure Web Gateway, an on-site and cloud-based Web security solution; M86 WebMarshal, a software-based in-bound and outbound Web traffic control and management, threat protection, and data leakage prevention solution; and M86 MailMarshal Secure Email Server, a policy-based secure email solution.

M86 Security. was formerly known as Marshal8e6 and changed its name to M86 Security. in 2009. The company was founded in 1995 and is based in Orange, California with satellite offices in the United States, Taiwan, and China; and development centers in California, Israel, and New Zealand.
