Lulu is an online self publishing firm. Lulu allows anyone to create their own customized books by uploading their manuscript, photos or digital files. Lulu provides formatting tools to set up any thing from binding to cover art.

Lulu also provides a digital marketplace and let users publish and sell print-on-demand books and e-books. In Lulu, users set their own price for the content they provide. Lulu prints and ships each item as itâ€™s ordered, and users collect 80% of the creator revenue on every sale. Lulu makes it possible for users to get their own ISBN, so that they can sell their books in retail stores.

Lulu also offers social-networking tools for creators. As of April 2008, there are more than 700 groups targeted to specific interests.
