We aim to help you! Search for your missing items of value free of charge. By sharing lost or stolen property information, we aim to increase your chances of be- ing reunited with your valuables.
About Us
The idea for the lost or stolen website came about after a group of like minded people agreed a public central database was needed, so that ordinary people who have had something go missing, could inform others of there loss and increase their chances of having that missing item returned.
The spark
One day whilst shopping, one of the team members had realised that they had left their ipod on the roof of their car, after running back to the car to find the ipod had gone, the team member hoped that someone might have handed it in, either to the local Police Station or to the shopping centre.
After returning home, the team member searched the internet for any clues or suggestions on finding missing personal property. The next morning he thought a central database, that allowed ordinary people to report their missing items of value, and for others who have found an item of value, and would like to return it back to it’s rightful owner would be of great use.
