Language groups supported include: cyrillic, indic, semitic, chinese, japanese, korean and more.

Languages: Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Korean, Farsi, Urdu, Hindi, Bulgarian, Telugu, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, Thai, Tibetan, Hebrew and many more.

Linguos is a multilingual search engine, focused on the non-English, non-Roman web. Linguos lets users search for, and find content in virtually every major non-Roman language including indc, cyrillic, semitic, cjk, easter and several other groups of languages.

Linguos takes a different approach to searching non-English content. Users enter searches in English, transcribing search terms phonetically (spelling terms as they sound in the target language). Linguos then transcribes users’ terms into the target language, retrieving all typical phonetic variants and spellings in the target language. This takes the pain out of entering queries in non-Roman languages on a standard QWERTY keyboard.
