Libcast.com is a cloud-based online multimedia platform allowing its users to host, manage and deliver their contents to all devices. Libcast offers its customers the ability to publish easily any type of audio, video, pictures or documents on the web, smartphone, tablet computers, connected TV and social networks.
The platform provide many features dedicated to powerful indexation, customization, monetization and analytics to measure audiences.
Finally, users have the possibility to add extensions to improve their experience. Libcast offers front-office templates (Web TV, WebRadio and Mediacenter), plug-ins for the most popular CMS (Drupal, Elgg…) and allows the community to use and create their own features thanks to API.
Founded in 2006 by Cedric MONTET and Brice VERCOUSTRE, Libcast’s expansion was supported in 2008 by Finaqui, a venture company, and OSEO
In 2011, the Multimedia Platform is used every day by small and major institutions, communities, businesses, a dozen of public entities and more than 200.000 students from K12 to Universities in France. Libcast owns the patent for the podcast technology. It has been deposited in 27 European countries.
