|Description||3D imaging for any camera|
Kúla makes it possible to take 3D pictures with a normal camera.
Kúla’s first product on the market is a device that can be attached to an SLR camera lens for stereoscopic photography. This device is called Kúla Deeper.
Kúla’s software, Kúlacode, can process these images and automatically transform them to almost any 3D format, including MPO for 3D televisions.
Kúla Deeper is both for capturing still 3D pictures and 3D videos.
The idea with Deeper is to enable any SLR camera owner to easily switch between normal and 3D photography, experiment with 3D photography without big investment, have fun and look kúl.
Kúla is a startup company and has received the following fundings: Icelandic Technology Development Fund 2010-2014 Innovation Center Iceland: 2012-2013 Women’s Entrepreneurs Fund (Ministry of Welfare): 2013

Kúla Deeper is put on front of a camera lens for taking stereoscopic pictures and videos. They can be experienced in 3D directly on the camera display using a stereo viewer.
When you’ve transferred your pictures and videos to the computer, our software Kúlacode can process them and transform to any 3d format you like for example anaglyph for red/cyan glasses, side-by-side for stereoviewers and MPO for the 3D televisions and similar devices.
