Kuato Studios is a learning company focused on creating the most engaging platform and games for kids to learn coding, science, problem solving, design and others.
Frank Meehan, former board director for Spotify and Siri, founded Kuato Studios in 2011 together with SRI, the creators of Siri, and Horizons Ventures, premier VC investors in Facebook, Spotify, Waze, Siri, Summly, and more.
Kuato Studios has London and Palo Alto based teams, which consist of AI specialists and talent from world-renowned games studios such as EA, Konami and Sony, as well as award-winning experts from the educational field. They are developing a suite of Unity-based products with AAA graphics that encourage the player to learn skills and problem solve through creativity and creation, ensuring that concepts are truly understood.
Kuato Studios is building this product suite around a powerful next generation interactive AI engine based on Virtual Personal Assistant technology (VPA 2.0) from SRI, that enables AI to understand how a user interacts with an entity or objects, how they learn concepts, and thereby assist them as they do so. The engine can also be extended out to understand how other software entities learn about each other.
