Koolspan, based in Bethesda, MD, manufactures the TrustChip, a microSD card that enables drop-in, secure connectivity solutions to mobile devices.

The TrustChip system includes encrypted network connectivity and mutual authentication; a device-to-device architecture that protects critical voice and data traffic end to end; distributed security management without limits of scale or network type; and a dedicated and hardened crypto engine that offloads security processing from host devices.
