|Description||Proprietary sweat-resistant garments|
Kleinert’s is a manufacturer of sweat-resistant garments and products.
The product line includes men’s and woman’s shirts, garment shields, sports bras, and undergarments. Kleinert’s also sells their proprietary products Sweat Shield antiperspirant and disposable wipes. Kleinert’s manufacturing is proudly based in the USA.
Kleinert’s developed a proprietary formula to treat garments that render them sweat and oder resistant. Fabrapel is a undetectable hypoallergenic, finish which uniquely provides water-repellency, stain-repellency and retards bacterial growth while eliminating, heat and odors. 100% cotton garments are treated at the Kleinert’s factory in Elba, AL. The end product is a breathable, comfortable article of clothing that resists perspiration.
Under the stewardship of Michael Brier, CEO, the company invests heavily in R&D to produce a new class of consumer product. The company sells over $5 million in product annually to individual consumers, lingerie stores, and large clients including the U.S. Military.
Kleinert’s, Inc. was founded in 1869. The company was a pioneer in the under garment and protective fabric industry, when I. B. Kleinert first invented the dress shield. He originally founded Kleinert’s, Inc. as I.B. Kleinert’s Rubber Company. Isaak Kleinert was a prolific inventor who developed many products that are still commonly used, including the shower cap, the shower curtain, the baby pant, the dress shield, the garment shield, swim caps, the sanitary pant and many other products. During World War II, Kleinert’s was a major supplier to the US Air Force, producing rubber life rafts to help save downed airmen.
