CogniK builds Pandora-like content discovery platforms for edutainment, teleshopping and more
Its first implementation, Kizz TV, is a technological platform which is changing the way young children and their parents watch TV. Its unique technology, based on advanced research in cognitive sciences, leverages existing edutainment to bring a truly pedagogical experience.
Kizz TV provides parents with a secure service to give children access to high-quality edutainment content, adapted to their level. Its profiling and recommendation engine is able to dynamically select suitable content for each individual child and bring it on any screen in the home. Its core technology is built by an experienced team of software engineers working together with a renowned lab specialized in cognitive sciences and computer-mediated learning.
Kizz TV has already announced partnerships with high-profile content providers such as Scholastic (NYSE:SCHL) and Avanquest (PAR:AVQFF). More content partnerships should be announced in due time.
Kizz TV is live in France since November 2009, available on Windows and Mac OS X. The team is working on porting it on dedicated hardware platforms to be brought to market with some major European players.
