What makes a better government? We believe a better government is one that leverages innovation to provide relevant, meaningful solutions to everyday problems – whether that means implementing strategies that streamline business processes, or integrating technologies to tackle an ever-changing landscape of challenges. We work to solve the complex issues that have plagued government agencies for years – meeting each problem with the intellect, ingenuity, and experience of our team.
We take a great deal of pride in our work and in our name. The kickstand’s elegance is its simplicity – it is a small mechanical device that supports the weight of a bicycle or motorcycle, enabling it to remain upright and balanced. The kickstand works because it creates stability, shifting the center of gravity and sharing the bike’s weight. Considering its size relative to the dimension and value of the asset it supports, riders earn a substantial return on their investment.
Kickstand, LLC is a professional services company with core offerings that enable our customers to have the confidence to conquer new routes and successfully navigate uncharted territories. We bring energy, initiative, and fresh perspective to solve the hardest problems faced by the government today. With proven methodologies and leading-edge techniques, we help government agencies forge sustainable operations and lead transformation. Our principal consultants have advised senior executive clients on some of the most significant public sector issues of the last decade.
In working with the White House and other Federal Executive branch agencies, Kickstand’s founders created programs that are now standard operating requirements in government, including Performance Measurement, Cybersecurity, Information Sharing, Public Safety, Stability Operations, Cloud Computing, IT Modernization, Shared Services, E-Government, and Investment Management.
Since 2002, Kickstand’s founders have supported the Office of Management and Budget in setting government information policy, planning capital for investments, and overseeing the entire $80 billion IT budget. Additionally, through our work in the public safety arena, Kickstand’s consultants have worked with many state/local agencies and NGOs that implement government programs through grants and competitive awards. Before starting Kickstand in 2010, the team was intimately involved in the growth of companies including SRA, Unisys, CGI, Deloitte, ITT, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Accenture, and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Kickstand provides the strength, stability, balance, and performance required to meet any size challenge – you can lean on us.
