Kalibera is a recently-launched web services company based in Oslo, Norway. Kalibera’s mission is to develop lightweight, next-generation webapps aimed at both the consumer and business markets.
The first product to launch is LiveLeader, an embedded live chat solution. Whereas most existing products in this market rely on plugins and popup windows, LiveLeader’s Ajax-based approach offers a smoother chat experience. Both free and paid plans are available.

LiveLeader is a embedded live chat solution. This tool lets any web site owner instantly connect with web site visitors to offer support or sales advice. Whereas existing live chat products usually rely on popup windows and Java applets, LiveLeader uses the latest browser tricks, and eliminates lost business due to technical problems.
LiveLeader is built using Google Web Tookit and deployed in Amazon’s infrastructure. This means dramatically reduced development time and good scalability.
