Juice Wireless is a provider of mobile social networking technology and services, head-quartered in Los Angeles, Califoria. Juice’s technology enables multimedia exchange and social networking aggregation between multiple mobile platforms and online services.
The company’s current flagship consumer offering, JuiceCaster - a multimedia sharing and social networking utility - is distributed by AT&T, Nokia, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Alltel, US Cellular, Cricket, Bouygues Telecom and Turkcell.
In September 2008, Juice Wireless announced Flutter - a picture messaging and location sharing application for the iPhone. Flutter ranked 8th most popular social networking app on the iPhone and garnered wide press coverage for “doing what Apple didn’t … giving iPhone 3G users some picture messaging love.” (San Francisco Chronicle)
CEO, Amir Hosseinpour, has stated in November 2008 that the company will announce its next generation mobile social networking platform and a deal with one of the world’s largest carriers in February 2009.
Juice Wireless faces stiff competition as a plethora of companies are in the market of mobile content delivery: Radar, Avot Media, and Treemo are a few.
