Juice Wireless is the parent company of JuiceCaster – a service allowing users to send photos, videos and other content to social networks from cell phones and other mobile devices.
JuiceCaster itself is a social network, with obligatory profile pages with pictures, interests, etc. Yet, JuiceCaster provides mobile connectivity in a number of ways through its application. Users can view videos on their phone, text message / chat, and share mobile pictures and videos through the JuiceCaster interface.
Juice Wireless has been on a rocky road; it started off as a mobile marketing company but it changed tack a year ago, laid off employees, and decided to focus on JuiceCaster.
Juice Caster is now offered by the mobile carriers Alltel and Cricket Wireless, as well as two Puerto Rican operators. CEO, Desai, has stated in December 2007 that the company has signed deals with two of the largest U.S. carriers as well as one of the largest handset makers.
On February 12, 2008, Juice Wireless announced that it had expanded Juice Caster operations into Europe, providing its video-based service over Europe’s 3G networks.
Juice Wireless faces stiff competition as a plethora of companies are in the market of mobile content delivery: Radar, Avot Media, and Treemo are a few.

JuiceCaster is the flagship product for Juice Wireless. It allows users to share videos, images, messages and comments with friends and groups between mobile devices and across hundreds of popular online destinations, including MySpace, Facebook, personal Web sites and blogs. The latest version, JuiceCaster 6.0, also lets individuals bundle JuiceCaster members and non-members into specific groups, such as family or coworkers, by importing contacts from Gmail, Hotmail, AOL and Microsoft Office Outlook. Consumers can also create videos, images or audio clips to send as an update status to all of their friends.
